HPCL Graduate Engineer Trainees (ET) Salary:
For the first six months (i.e. in the training
period), HPCL offers the Graduate Engineer trainees a consolidated
stipend of Rs. 33,000/- per month.
On successful completion of training, Graduate Engineers will be absorbed in management cadre (Grade-A) in the salary scale of Rs.24,900-50,500/-, with which the CTC is Rs. 9.4 lakhs per annum (approx).

Age Eligibility:
Maximum 25 years as on 30th June 2014 (DOB should be on or after 30.06.1989)
Age relaxations exists for reserved categories.
Educational Qualification Eligibility:
Minimum 60% (For SC/ST/PWD: 50%) aggregate marks in full time degrees in Engineering.
If you are a Final year / semester student than you may also apply,
provided you can submit the final mark sheet by 31st August 2014.

to say that you also have to possess the eligibility for GATE, details

HPCL Recruitment 2014 Online Form:
You have to register (i.e. apply) actually twice for HPCL Graduate Engineer positions: once for GATE & than for HPCL.

Submission of form has already started and the last date to applying online for GATE 2014 is 3rd October, 2013.
Subsequent to your online registration for GATE 2014, you would be able
to download the GATE 2014 Admit card. Now you have to use the "GATE-2014 Registration Number" as given in the admit card to register online for HPCL ET Recruitment 2014.
The HPCL ET Recruitment 2014 Online form would be available from 5th November 2013 to 7th January 2014 in this HPCL Career website.
Last date for submission of HPCL ET Recruitment 2014 Online form
is 14th February 2014. How to apply online for the HPCL recruitment is
described clearly in section "HOW TO APPLY:" in page 7 of the HPCL job
advertisement for Executive Trainees 2014.
Start date for online registration for GATE 2014: 02.09.2013.
Last date of online registration for GATE 2014: 03.10.2013.

Subsequent to your online registration for ET positions, HPCL would procure the GATE scores from GATE authority, shortlist the candidates and if you are within the merit list, would call you for the subsequent selection process - that is Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
